Based on your feedback the Peer Support Groups have been restructured and will be called Peer Education Meetings going foward as of August 2011.  

The Peer Education Meetings will replace the former Peer Support Groups and will be held three times per year in October/November, February/March, and June/July in Denver, Colorado Springs and Grand Junction.  The meetings will have a new focus on educating healthcare professionals on various topics.  If you have suggestions for topics, please contact your case manager or the Program Director, Mark Merrill.

These meetings will be required for all clients on rehabilitation contracts. Unless otherwise specified by your case manager, all clients are required to attend each of the three regional Peer Education Meetings in their area.  Clients are responsible for checking the PAS website for updates and changes to the Peer Education Meetings.  Clients are able to attend a Peer Education Meeting held in another region with approval from their Case Manager.  Childcare is not provided at the meetings.
