PAS accepts self-referrals and calls from persons who may be concerned about themselves or others. Calls are confidential and you do not need to give your name or the name of the individual you are concerned about.

The sooner the better. Call PAS if you have any questions about any health or personal problem, especially if this issue may have the ability to affect an individual’s practice, work or studies.

• Ask to speak with the Healthcare Professionals Assistance Program Director. You will be asked for information about your relationship to the individual and the nature of your concern. Our staff will talk with you confidentially and guide you through making the referral.
• Give the individual our contact information and emphasize that the services are confidential, and in most cases, no cost.
